Happy Birthday Ang!

Although this post is a couple of days late, I would still like to take this chance to wish my awesome wife a happy birthday! (don't worry, I wished her a happy birthday a few times on her actual birthday)
I've had to do quite a bit of traveling for work lately and I keep finding myself dreading to go because I don't want to be away from my best friend. Angie is a fantastic wife and I'm very fortunate to be married to her. She makes me happy and also makes me a better person.
Thanks for being a kick-butt wife, Ang! I love you!
(btw, a picture would be right here, but I'm posting this from my laptop. A picture will be posted here soon. Stay tuned.)

Brett and Kelly's Visit

This past week, Brett, Kelly, Will, and Kyanna came to visit and we had so much fun! We're so glad they came! We did a lot of fun stuff. We went to the coast (of course!), had fun dinners, had a graduation (way to go, Brett!), went to parks (and watched geese literally chase a couple people (who had come to feed them) down the pathway), had FHE and played A LOT of Wii. William LOVED playing Mario Kart. :) I just have to mention a couple funny things Will did that had me and Rob about dying from laughing. We were eating dinner and we looked over at Will and he had his mouth WIDE open and just sat there for a second and then finally let out a tiny burp and then sat there smiling hugely. Then, later that evening, still at dinner, he was trying to get Kelly's attention but she was in the middle of a conversation with someone else so wasn't answering right away. He kept calling her name and then finally resorted to yelling "Earth to Mommy! Earth to Mommy!" repeatedly. Finally one last yell of "EARTH! TO! MOM!" about sent Rob and me over the edge. Fun times! Brett ended up not driving all the way to his graduation, so we decided to have a ceremony for him. We dressed him up in the old graduation gear we could find and put on a whole thing for him. He was such a good sport. We're very proud of him and we're so happy they all came to visit! We had a blast!

Update Finally!

We haven't updated our blog because we're fairly boring people and haven't had a ton to post. But I finally thought of some things to put on here. We had a fun Memorial Day weekend. We went to Newport on Saturday and met up with some friends and hung out at a house they rented for the weekend. They were right by the beach, so we were able to walk down and play in the sand for a little bit while the sun was out. We also drove down the coast for a little bit and stopped to see some tide pools that had actually been covered up by the time we got there. It was still beautiful though. We've been so spoiled living so close to the coast, it'll be hard if we move away.

Yesterday was mine and Dan's 4th anniversary! I can't believe it's been 4 years already, it's gone by so fast and has been so much fun! We didn't do a whole lot for it - Dan's been working a ton of extra hours and he even had to work all day Sunday so he's been exhausted. We went to dinner (a little late) at Ambrosia, which we've been wanting to try for awhile, and it was pretty good. Then we just came home and hung out and went to bed early. We're party animals! Dan brought me home 2 dozen roses, which are so beautiful! I was so excited! For our presents to each other, we preordered Rock Band for the Wii. It comes out later this month, and we're so excited! I just have to take a second and mention how much I appreciate Dan. He works so hard so that we can live a nice life and I'm so grateful for that! He's so much fun and we've had a great 4 years! Thanks, Dan! I love you!
