After a lot of thought and prayer, Dan and I have decided we are going to adopt! We are so excited about this new adventure we're about to go on. We're in the very beginning stages of the process, but we wanted our friends and family to be able to read about our journey. Some may wonder why we have made this decision. Let me give a brief history: We've been married 4 1/2 years and have been trying to have a baby for about the last 4 years. We've been to multiple doctors and haven't found anything wrong. It's been a long, frustrating, and very hard road for us as we've been anxious to start a family. We still have other options, albeit, more expensive options, but this is the right choice for us right now and we couldn't be more excited! I've decided to start a new blog so I can keep track of our journey - thoughts, feelings, dates, etc. It will be a private blog, so if you'd like to join us, please let us know and we'll send you an invite! That is so exciting. I would love to be able to read your adoption blog. I have a brother and sister in law who are going through the same process. My sister in law recently read a book called from Gods arms to My arms to yours and said it was fantastic. Maybe give it a read. It has music that goes with it too.

As you know, I was adopted. I have been so blessed being able to be with my family. I was adopted when I was 5, and I wouldn't change it for the world. I have been able to do so many things with my family that I would never had a chance to do. I know that you two will be wonderful parents. I was thinking about you about 2 months ago, and was wondering if you would ever adopt. I'm so glad that you are taking this wonderful adventure.
